Registration

Please read through this information carefully before you complete the Registration Form located at the end of this page.

The dedicated continuing professional development programmes of the 35th Australian Dental Congress are strictly subject to availability, and open to participants as follows:

Main Scientific Programme, Workshops and Lunch & Learn Sessions – Dentists (including members, non-members, dental undergraduates and 1st Year & 2nd Year graduate members), Lay Persons Directly Associated with Dentistry

Dental Hygienist Programme – Dental Hygienists, Dental Therapists

Dental Assistants Programme – Dental Assistants, Practice Managers

Practice Managers Programme – Practice Managers, Dental Hygienists, Dental Therapists, Dental Assistants

The three (3) day Congress Exhibition is open to all the above delegates and to other Allied Health Professionals.


Important Information

- Please note that all persons intending to attend and participate in Congress must register.

- Each registrant must fill in a separate form.

- All dentists MUST register as dentists. If a dentist’s spouse or partner is also a dentist, both must register separately as dentists.

- Overseas dentists who are members of their national dental association are eligible to pay the ADA member registration fee, and must provide proof of membership.

- Student identification card must be valid at the time of Congress.

- 1st & 2nd Year ADA Member Graduates must provide formal evidence of date of qualification or first registration. To be eligible for this registration rate, the date of qualification must be within 18 months prior to the Congress date.

Day Registration for the Main Scientific Programme will be available online from Wednesday 6th March 2013. Bookings cannot be made prior to this date. Day Registration will also be available on-site.

Exhibition Day Entry

The exhibition is open to other Allied Health Professionals and visitors who have not registered for the Congress at a cost of AUD$60 per adult per day. All those attending the exhibition will need to register.

Exhibition Day Entry registration will be available online from Wednesday 6th March 2013. Bookings cannot be made prior to this date. Exhibition Day Entry registration will also be available on-site.

Please note: The Exhibition Day Entry fee does not include food & beverage, or access to any scientific sessions or Congress social events.

Note: *The Name Badge is your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times to enter events and the exhibition. Your badge identifies your individual entitlements. The Congress Managers expect appropriate behaviour from attendees and reserve the right to revoke the badge of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner.

 

Payment of Fees

Note: Registrations will not be processed or confirmed until payment in full is received.

Payment for delegate and accompanying person registration is accepted by credit card – Mastercard, VISA, American Express and Diners. Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to Congress by OzAccom Pty Ltd.

Payment made by cheque (made payable to OzAccom Pty Ltd), must be drawn on an Australian bank and forwarded, with a copy of the Delegate Registration form (printed PDF) to:

Note: Cheques will not be accepted after Friday 22nd March 2013. Congress registration fees can unfortunately not be accepted by direct bank transfer.

 

Acknowledgement

Your registration and payment will be acknowledged with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form. Your registration will be not be processed or confirmed if payment does not accompany your registration.

Your registration acknowledgement will include advice necessary prior to your arrival at the Congress. At the Congress you will receive the final relevant programme and exhibition details.

The latest Congress and exhibition information is provided on the Congress website, with regular updates delivered via Congress e-Newsletter, Facebook and YouTube.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations must be notified in writing. (Policy subject to change without notice)

Registration Fees

Before Thursday 20th December 2012 will incur a AUD$150 cancellation fee

Before Thursday 21st February 2013 will incur a 50% refund of fees paid

After Thursday 21st February 2013 there will be no refund


Social Events & Accompanying Persons Exclusive Touring

Before Thursday 20th December 2012 will incur a AUD$25 cancellation fee

Before Thursday 21st February 2013 will incur a 50% refund of fees paid

After Thursday 21st February 2013 there will be no refund

 

Congress Accommodation

All accommodation room rates are listed in Australian Dollars and are valid for the Congress only if booked through Ozaccom. Rates include GST, are quoted on a per room per night basis and are for the room only. Rates and all information are current at time of printing and may be subject to change without prior notification. Accommodation bookings made after 21 February 2013 may be subject to further terms & conditions and hotels may charge a credit card fee. Cancellations within 7 days are subject to the hotels terms & conditions.

Note: Credit card details must be given at time of booking to guarantee reservation.

Deposit is non-refundable at Thursday 21st February 2013.

 

Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the Congress and book your travel you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the Congress, or through cancellation of the Congress, loss of international / domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason, loss of tour monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes within Australia (and elsewhere), failure to utilise tours or pre-booked arrangements due to airline delay, Force Majeure or any other reason, medical expenses (including sickness an accident cover), loss and damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The Congress managers do not take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. This insurance is to be purchased in your country of origin.
